BodyFlow

Description
A combination of TaiChi, Yoga and Pilates set to music for a low-impact workout. 45-minute and one hour classes available.

Great for all ability levels. Low impact.
Tips/Preparation
Come warmed up; be patient with yourself as you learn the techniques.

Attire
Comfortable, loose clothing with indoor gym shoes, stocking feet or clean, bare feet.

Chair Yoga

Description
This no-impact yoga incorporates a chair into typical therapeutic yoga poses, gently improving strength and flexibility. This is a 45 minute class.
Outcomes/Benefits
Gently increases flexibility, improves balance, reduces stress and builds core muscles.
Ability level
For those with disabilities, weight challenges, inflexibility or mobility issues.
Tips/Preparation
Be patient with yourself as you learn the techniques. Open your mind and be prepared to have fun. Enter and leave the yoga room quietly to enhance your focus and concentration, as well as acknowledge the relaxation of others.
Equipment Used
Chair – provided by WRF.
Attire
Wear fitted exercise clothing, indoor gym shoes, stocking feet or clean bare feet.
What to bring (optional)
A water bottle and towel.

Somatic Yoga

Description
Somatic Yoga blends the philosophy of “somatics”, which unifies mind and body, with traditional yoga.
Outcomes/Benefits
Beneficial for flexibility, balance, strength, alignment and tension release in mind and body. Also helpful for those with muscle and joint pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, or joint replacements.
Ability level
Great for all ability levels.
Tips/Preparation
Modifications will be offered throughout to accommodate beginner to intermediate.
Equipment Used
Mats are provided.
Attire
Wear comfortable, loose clothing and clean, bare feet.
What to bring (optional)
Bring your own yoga mat, if you prefer and a water bottle.

Tai Chi

Description
This ancient art uses gentle, flowing movements in a series of postures and motions. 55-minute classes are available.

Vinyasa Yoga

Description
Vinyasa Yoga is also referred to as “power yoga”, a highly engaging practice that uses a fluid series of postures but where the order and variance of postures often change. More importantly, breathing and balance are closely linked to movement.
Outcomes/Benefits
Helps increase energy, flexibility and balance. Also provides strength training and works to decrease stress, anxiety and depression.
Ability level
Great for all ability levels. Minimum age: 10 years
Tips/Preparation
Modifications will be offered throughout to accommodate intermediate to advanced.

Mat, Blocks, Belt
Attire
Fitness attire and clean, bare feet.
What to bring (optional)

Description
Combines slow movements and stretches; low impact and low cardio. One-hour classes are available.
